Not My Future

This particular composition is my take on the phrase "Not My President", which has been circulating around the Interwebs and my university the last few months. Unfortunately, unless the circumstances change sometime within the next four years, we as a nation cannot reject President Trump as our President because he has been sworn in and everything. However, what we can do is make sure our voices are always heard and to not let this set us back in fighting for civil rights and against cruel and unusual punishments that may be doled out. Never let the ones high in power define who we are as a nation. And for the sake of our democracy, practice your first amendment rights as much as you can. Work hard at your jobs/studies while you can, especially since you most likely had to sacrifice a lot of things for your job/education so then you can help others in need. But most of all, always remember that in the darkest hour, there will be light.

(I had forgotten my calligraphy notebook when I made this and it actually fit perfectly with what I wanted, so I rolled with it.)
